Dropped in yesterday for a post beach meal. They were having issues with their power due to the excessive heat warning but handled it really graciously and kept us informed. Decor was nice, if not a little dimly lit. Probably due to the weather, it was empty but they had lots of take out orders. Service was super attentive with our server checking on us frequently for water refills. They also preemptively guessed our needs and let us know where we could plug our phone chargers in which was nice!
My friend snagged the bento box special which is $10 from 11am- 5 pm. Great price lol (though I'm used to the much pricier city prices). She got rice, chicken teriyaki (she loved it!), 4 pieces of a California roll, miso soup, salad, 3 pieces of shumai. The California roll seemed standard, cut a little shorter than usual but whatever you're already getting a ton of bang for your buck lol. Miso soup had lots of seaweed and tofu which is always nice! The shumai was your standard probably frozen ones, but not bad at all. I'm Chinese so I'm def spoiled by the real thing shumai lol!
I got two rolls, spicy salmon with avocado and an eel avocado roll. The rolls were generous and large with perfect avocado. I found my spicy salmon to be a tad dry but that may just be me. Also snagged the pork gyoza appetizer. It was alright, I found the inside to lack a bit in flavor and it wasn't fried enough for me. Still tho, solid overall!
Overall, would return if I was in the area. The bento box is super worth it lol. -

A pretty decent place to visit after spending some time on the beach but before hopping on the shuttle subway. I cannot say that anything really stood out with the restaurant or the food. However, I will say that my waitress was very nice and efficient. The prices were are slightly higher than some of the other places nearby, but it's not insanely overpriced.

So delicious. Seafood Yaki Udon and pork gyoza. Flavors are light and clean tasting. A lot of flavor. I order from here all the time. I've never been disappointed. I've had their entrees, sushi,salads... everything is great tasting and fresh.

I come here often and I also done delivery before. I've never been disappointed with this place, they have nice selection of appetizers dishes that I try each time I go there. It's a small place with few tables and a sushi bar where you can watch the chef making it. The customer is friendly and pretty good. No doubt I'll be back at a

Best sushi spot in Rockaway! My fiancé, daughter and I love the fried oysters!!! The kani salad with spicy mayo is to die for. The sushi is fresh and delicious. My fiancé and I frequent this restaurant at least once every two weeks. The employees and owner are professional and kind hearted people
